RLX8: Connecting to SL88
The SL88 has an 8-way screw terminal block for its outputs.
The basic principles in connecting an RLX8 to an SL88, using the UBCC1030 cable, are:
- Cut the crimp terminals off the lose ends of the UBCC1030 cable and strip the wires for insertion in the screw terminals.
- Connect the white wire to the positive supply voltage of the SL88. The safest thing is to terminate it on the actual power supply terminal block of the SL88.
- Allocate relay wires (all but the black wire) to the output terminals of the SL88.
