Programming cable for programming CC18, MS121 and other SPLat controllers that have a 4-pin programming connector. Works with controllers that operate at 5V as well as anticipated future 3.3V products.

Not all USB to serial (RS232) adaptors are created equal. If your computer lacks a serial (COM, RS232 port) you will need an adaptor. The adaptor we offer is based on the FTDI chips, which have proven themselves the most dependable. We carry this adaptor purely as a convenience service, so you can order it with your SPLat Developer's Kit. Drivers can be downloaded from the FTDI download page. The VCP driver is the correct one.

BlueTooth adaptor for CC18, MS121 and other SPLat controllers that have a 4-pin programming connector at 5V. Pre-configured as a slave device at 38400 Baud.

BlueTooth adaptor for HMI, Din Family and other SPLat controllers that have a 4-pin programming connector at 3.3V. Pre-configured as a slave device at 38400 Baud.

BlueTooth adaptor for MMi202, SL100 and other SPLat controllers that have a 9-pin (DB9) RS232-compatible programming connector. Pre-configured as a slave device at 38400 Baud. Intended for use with SimpleHMI on Android.

A US style switchmode wall plug style 24VDC 0.6A power supply. This is intended primarily for use during development work. It is supplied with the output wires unterminated so you can fit the appropriate SPLat power connector from your SPLat Developer's Kit. We carry this purely as a convenience service, so you can order it with your SPLat Developer's Kit.

A 6' long DB9 M-F data cable. Use as a SPLat programming cable on your computer's 9-pin COM port or in conjunction with a USB232 adaptor.

This adaptor connects to the Xwire port on any SPLat controller and converts it to an RS485 interface. Xwire protocol over RS485 will allow cable runs of up to 1km - with suitable cable and grounding precautions- and up to 32 devices.

Note: There is also an Xwire adaptor made specifically for the CC16/18, shown on that products's page.

This adaptor plugs directly into the DB9 communications port on a SPLat controller and converts it to an RS485 interface. Typically you would use this to extend the range of ModBus communications up to 1km (with suitable cable and grounding precautions). Compatible with MMi202 and SL100.

This adaptor plugs directly into the COM port on a PC and converts it to an RS485 interface. It features automatic Tx/Rx switching. Documentation

We are often asked which crimping tool should be used for the 0.1" and 0.156" connectors in our products. Our favourite is the "Elpress Mobile" tool from Elpress in Sweden. Both the tool and die set are available from numerous suppliers, including Crimptech in Australia:
