Query timeout x10mS
This is a Communication Control Block (CCB) parameter. It occupies byte 10 (counting from 0) in the CCB.
This time defines how long a SPLat acting as a communications master will wait for a response to a query (poll). Timing starts when the query has been fully transmitted. A complete response (i.e. the end of the response message, including its message gap) must be received within the allocated time.
This time is specified in units of 10mS. It is usually better to err on the "too long" side. Assuming most responses will be received quickly, this timeout will only expire (and consume time) if there is a problem with the communication channel.
Applies to the following protocols: ModBus RTU master.
