# Display(Bits) hash function

Valid for use with hash command: Thermistor

The Display hash function does two things:

  1. When SPLat/PC processes the Thermistor hash command, Display causes it to show a pop-up window that shows you the results of the thermistor calculations.
  2. The Bits argument tells SPLat/PC the resolution of your analog input, so it can calculate the temperature final resolution. Most SPLat controllers have an analog input resolution of 10 bits. See your controller data for specifics.

Display is totally optional. Hint: Place it last on the Thermistor line, so it is easy to Comment out.
